Niger State Governor has presented the 2025 Budget of N1.56 trillion to the State House Of Assembly

 


Niger State Governor, Moahmmed Umar Bago, has presented a budget of N1.56 trillion  for the year 2025 to the State's House of Assembly for consideration and approval.

The Governor described the proposal of the the budget as pivotal for the state's rapid socio- economic transmission. He said that the budget is designed to solidify the foundations for sustainable development in the state.

The Governor explained that the budget estimate comprises 13% of the budget for recurrent expenditure and  87% for Capital expenditure. He also said that the budget aligns with the Economic and fiscal Update (EFU), Fiscal Strategy Paper (FSP) and Budget Policy Statement (BPS) for 2025-2027
