Borno state Government has released the names of government agencies, corporate organisations and Individuals that contributed to relief of the flood victims in the state. The gratitude message from the state government state the donations, which include cash contributions from 730 donors, drugs and medical equipment from 227, and miscellaneous items from 59 individuals and organisations.
The secretary to the Borno state Government, Hon. Bukar Tijjani, expressed appreciation for the Kindness and solidarity to the state in the time of need. He said that the support provided through the flood Disaster Relief Basket fund, had significantly assisted many families by the disaster.
